My Passion
There is something about upcycling, making discarded and unwanted wood look great and turned into things that people would love to have. Environmentally friendly products made into such a variety of things.

It all started two years ago with the need for a menu holder for events at the company I work for. So I found some wood in the garage and some sandpaper and a saw and I made one. I then decided to put the Company logo on it and so I bought a soldering iron and branded it. With some encouragement, started to buy a few tools, sourced more wood, mostly in the form of pallets but also off cuts of other types of wood which would otherwise been discarded and I began to create more and more products.

What do I get out of it? It is challenging, rewarding, therapeutic. Let's give the wood some credit. It can end its life/usefulness looking pretty shabby but it has spent all that time flourishing and developing in a forest. Let's make it look great again and bring it back to life. Handcrafted not manufactured, each item has its own certain individuality and charm.
They look real nice but I don’t do dovetails. It’s so time consuming and difficult using the kind of wood I use. Pallet wood breaks up so easily. There is nothing wrong with glue. Wood glue is good. Gluing and Screwing is what I do, together with sawing and sanding of course …… and a bit of drilling. That’s it. It is so easy. Give it a try.
